Note: the name for this chanter remains a topic of constant obsessive and indecisive contemplation for me...
While the standard Great Highland Bagpipe chanter plays a standard 9-notes, (with some cross-fingering for accidentals, too,) this altered design allows for up to 16 notes ranging from the standard low-G up to high-D.
